I established ACC assist because I am determined that all claimants should receive their correct entitlements from ACC.
I aim to provide a small specialized advocacy and assistance service that can simplify the process of dealing with ACC. I believe that my qualifications and life experience make me ideally suited to providing this service.
My qualifications and work experience include:
- Bachelor of Arts (history and political studies) from the University of Otago, 1981
- Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury,1986
- Private legal practice 1986-1993
- Employed as a Reviewer to review decisions made by ACC 1993-2007.
- Member of Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand 1999-2010
- Involvement in a wide range of voluntary and community organizations. At present I am Chairperson of Prebbelton Enviro-Village, a local group promoting sustainability.
